Very good and professional service, the reception staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The veterinarians are knowledgeable and experienced, and show great respect for animals. The communication and thorough explanations were very professional. There's free parking for about 10 cars in front of the building.

The team at both AVG and their out of hours team have been fantastic for my Labrador Flynn. He’s had a couple of unexpected visits as well as planned consults and every time you are welcomed with a smile, honest and genuinely helpful advice. Most recently Flynn had an ongoing stomach bug, the team saw him a few times, doing everything they can to keep him at home with me, but were more than happy to keep him in when they felt he needed some additional support. I received multiple calls throughout the day and night updating me on his progress, next steps, always confirming I was happy with prices, risks involved etc. I’ve got nothing but praise for the AVG team and thank you for looking after Flynn so well, I think he’ll miss his stay!

Whilst the phone call and vets are fine. When my wife went in to collect our cat, she was asked if she wanted some cream, as no mention of price was discussed, my wife said yes. Next thing, a charge of £41 for a tube of cream, which you can buy off the counter anywhere else for £10-15. The following day, I went in to ask for a refund on the unwanted and unopened box, where I was told that refunds were not permitted and they wouldn't take the cream back and it would need to be destroyed. There was no apology or customer service, leaving a very bitter taste. They are not exactly open and honest with their costs from the beginning and that's now £41 wasted! Thinking about it, maybe 2 stars was generous!
