Winston our rescue, visited Lizzie for screw tail removal and castration earlier this week. Lizzie was wonderful, she took time to explain everything thoroughly and made Winston feel at ease. He was well looked after by all the staff and is now recovering at home in his boxers. I still can’t believe he is a fit as a Spaniel! Fitness is his passion Lizzie :)

The care given by all the staff at both Newquay & Summercouirt is brilliant and a breath of fresh air in today’s corporate greed. You really feel like you are treated with respect, but more importantly your animal is given the best care - they are first and foremost in all the staff’s eyes. Our Dog (Merlin) has recently been through the wars since late November 2025 - 4 teeth removed, Ruptured Cruciate Ligament and mass removal (which turned out to be a sarcoma requiring more extensive surgery) This has resulted in 6 general anaesthetic over the past 3 months and he his still happy to go through the door. My wife and I cannot thank Colin & Lizzy enough for setting up this practice, and staffing it with the best staff in the area. We would also like to thank 2 special nurses in Merlin’s eyes - Jenny & Wendy - although all the staff are brilliant but those 2 have stood out If you are looking for a veterinary practice in Mid Cornwall, this has got to be your choice. PS - Remember to also join the ‘Beaconeers’ - it is well worth it

We were referred to Beacon Vet Care for Dolly (our chocolate lab) to have surgery on both rear cruciate ligaments. From the minute we walked through the door, we had a warm welcome. Our vet Marco & the veterinary nurses were wonderful, incredibly helpful & knowledgeable. I knew that I’d be leaving Dolly in safe hands. Communication was excellent & we were kept up to date on everything. Thank you to you all 🤩
