Great vets. Independent family run business ( a rarity these days!). Very reasonable prices and great pragmatic care. They have been excellent in providing emergency care for our dog as well as his routine appointments.

Having been registered with two other veterinary practices in Durham and felt completely ripped off by their medication prices prompting me to seek alternative veterinary treatment for my pet dog. I have been registered with Dunelm Veterinary Practice for over a year now and have found all staff to be highly professional and caring. I feel their charges are very reasonable and certainly don’t feel ripped off after treatment. A brilliant practice which I highly recommend.

I really couldn't recommend Dunelm Veterinary Group highly enough. Every single one of the staff is unfailingly empathetic, kind and good humoured, and they all go out of their way to make both the animal and the human comfortable. The care for the animals is truly second to none. We've had an incredibly difficult few months, in which all three of our cats have been ill with various conditions; a short severe illness which ended in euthanasia, a chronic disease to manage, and a rare, aggressive cancer which has needed a limb amputation. It is without exaggeration that I say we've been in the vets almost every week since October, and in all of that time we've never been rushed, always had our concerns listened to and have felt our pets (and ourselves!) so cared for. Particularly with Cricket, who was euthanised, and Gylfi's amputation, the level of kindness which has been offered to us is above and beyond expectations, and we can't thank the team enough. Special thanks in particular to Fran, Jack, Jordan, Demi and Freya, but honestly everyone at the practice is a star! I'll never take a pet anywhere else.
